Hi All,

We returned from our (almost) 3 weeks holiday last week. I haven't had a chance to send this e-mail before as we are still experiencing broad band link up problems at home (not likely to be rectified until early August gggrrrrr). So am now back at work (yeuch) and can post my highlights and lowlights of what was overall a fantastic holiday.

Highlights:

Lunch at CRT
DS 7th Birthday dinner at Chef Mickey's
Kids (7 and 5) riding RRC 4 times on the trot!!!
Kids riding the kids roller coasters over at US and IOA on their own
The Revenge of the Mummy Ride
The Stars and their Cars Parade at MGM
Lots and lots of highlights with various charcters (wow they are GOOD!)
Fantasmic
Soarin (as usual)
Its a Bugs life (had never fancied this before but its great)
Dine with Shamu

Lowlights

A BIG one, I lost my camera on Day 5 at MGM studios (and no it wasn't handed in!)
We didn't see Wishes (why not, I can't say - except the kids were soooo exhausted that we never foced the issue of late nights in the parks)
Back the Future (this had previously been one of the rides I loved - both DH and I were sorely disappointed with it.)
Coming home!!!!

Seriously, I wan't sure about July what with the crowds and heat etc - but it was great.

Any questions just ask!!!!

Wow I cant believe your kids did rrc 4 times! I went on it once and have been too scared ever since to try it again, your young ones put me to shame!

Where did you stay? How long did it take to go thru immigration?

Jen

My DS who is almost 7 was way too small for RrRC - and he was desperate to go on!!! It's one of my favs!
Sounds like you had a fab time - I know what you mean about BTTF though - disappointing and very bumpy!!!

Welcome home! Sounds like you had a fab trip (apart from your camera :( )

I agree - I used to love BTTF but I went on last trip and it just was too bumpy - then we went on Jimmy Newtron and thought it was FANTATSIC! Amazing what a few years of new technology can do to what is basically the same ride - I think they should just bring the BTTF film into Jimmy and you'd be sorted :0)

Adults please don't pass over this ride thinking it's for kids you'll love it too :love1:

Rosiejo, I agree Jimmy Netron was fun!!

Natalie, yes it is a character meal which was great. We say, Cindy, Mary Poppins, Snow White, Aurora and Belle. Cute thing was when my daughter saw Belle at the storybook lunch over in Epcot she remarked that Belle didn't remember meeting her at the castle. :goodvibes

Jen-uk, we tayed at the Marriott Grande Vista - which was fab. It took us about an hour to get through immigration at Tamap airport - not too bad!
