Let me just say that the last time we stayed at BCV was last November and we had an okay time. But his time it was absolutely fabulous despite Hurricane Jeanne, and not getting any of our requests as far as view met. Overall I found all of the cast members to be very friendly despite their personal hardships. The room #547 one bedroom was in great condition except a scratch or two on the DR table, but that is to be expected considering the amount of use they get.
During the Hurricane, they provided boxed meals in room #110 for guests that didn't have supplies in their rooms, and characters and magicians and more in the main lobby of the beach club. They did have guards at the exits of the buildings warning people to travel to the lobby at their own risks. They also left several updated messages on our room phones as to the weather and park conditions.
The days after the hurricane passed, the parks were pretty empty and we got to ride most everything without much delay. We went to MNSSHP on Oct 3rd and had an absolutely grand time. How much candy can one person eat??
At the BCV, my daughter picked an oyster and got an 8mm blue pearl which I had mounted on a necklace for her. They said it was a rare find.
The weather on all the other days were great except one afternoon, it rained at MGM for about 1/2 hour.
Oh and the bus service was okay, the had us combined with Swan and Dolphin, Boardwalk, and yacht club most times. I really wish they would give the Swan and Dolphin their own bus.
