I am sorry you have to listen to the barking dogs again.
I am the owner of 2 bo-bo's who bark at anything that moves. Edgar, my elderly guy (almost 12) is nearly completely deaf. He didn't bark this much when he was younger, I think he does it because he can't hear. Because he barks, Murphy (aka Muffin because of his personality - almost 3) barks. Drives me NUTS! But we do bring them inside if they bark for more than a minute or two. Don't want to drive the neighbors nuts.
Do know that there are dog owners... with dogs that are not well trained (Murphy) that know their dogs are not particularly well trained and still make accomodations to keep the dogs from being trouble for others.
A little back story... got Murphy for our daughter who is now 8, got pregnant with her little brother not long after Murphy came along. Between working full time, pregancy, infant and now a toddler with energy like no other... dog training has not been number one on our list of things to do. That said Murphy and Edgar (who actually is well trained but can no longer hear the commands so has to be looking at you to know what you want him to do) are wonderful dogs with AMAZING personalities. The baby rests his head on Murphy and gets lots of kisses (yuck!) but they love it!
Hope the dogs next door aren't too annoying and most importantly you and your family are safe going forward.
