Hi all. I was able to locate a 2008 Passporter at a bookstore downtown. However, it was the deluxe edition that is a tan leather and quite nice. It was rather expensive at $45.00. I don't know why but I expected it to be a bit smaller. I don't think I will want to carry this in my bag through the parks every day. So, I guess I want to know if you guys think this book is really worth it. I haven't opened the inside yet (all the pages that go inside are still factory sealed) so that I can return it if necessary. So obviously I can't judge the contents.

Do you think I should keep it? After finding this website and gathering sooooooo much amazing info and tips, I wonder just how much more could this book add? KWIM?

I'd keep it...but I'm a huge Passporter fan and very biased.:) The one you got is even better than the "regular" one. You can take just the pages you think you need to with you to the parks without having to take the whole book. I generally don't carry mine with me every day, but I do take it on the trip and review the info I need for the day ahead. My favorite part are the folders in the back. I love being able to keep track of my receipts and notes from the trip - they make my scrapbooking heart happy. :)

Another bonus is you will just have to buy the refills you need/want for your next trip...or you can sell the binder on eBay and make some of your money back when you get home...or you can sell it to me. ;)

HTH.

I bought a regular one, and it's OK. I read it and enjoyed reading it, but I won't take it with me on my trip.

I will take my UG along, but not to the parks.

I like the UG a whole lot more!

I love , love ,love my passporter.I have used it for many trips:) I don't always take it to the parks. But I do bring it to WDW and keep it in the room and review my day and make notes on the pockets. It does make a great momento.I love reading all the things I have done on past trips.

I love my deluxe Passporter. I've already ordered my 2009 refill.:thumbsup2
I leave it in the room & write in it everynight as a memento. I sometimes take the folder for the day to the park with me. I keep my receipts, dining reservation conf. #'s, etc. on it.

When I refill it with the new one-I just put metal rings I bought at Walmart in the old refill & put it away with our memories. I love looking back through the old ones & reliving the fun times.

I love my Passporter too. LOTS of great info! It is nice to have it in the room to reference to when you have a quick question you need to confirm the answer to. ;)

Hubby and I bought one for 2007 when we went to Disney for the first time and I loved it. I never took it to the parks, but it was fun to fill it in at night after a fun day. I plan on buying the 2009 one for my solo trip in Jan..:thumbsup2

;) I have to agree with keeping the Passporter. We have a couple and my DH expects me to schedule our plans in it. We take it on trips but not to the parks. It was a great gift last year for my Father...my parents are going with us this year.

Thanks everyone for your input! I have decided that I will keep it. It seems that I don't have to bring it to the parks (just bring the necessary page or so), therefore the size is no big deal.

I cannot say enough how much I love this board!! It is so amazing to come hear 'talk' to others and get such helpful advice and assistance. Even for a silly question like this! :goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

The one thing that I love about Passporter is that I keep a record of my expenditures, and even though the price goes up every year, it gives me an idea of how much money to take and what I am spending it on.
