WOW ---- we just went over for three days to the Halloween Party....upon arrival we went to DTD and walked, shopped, etc...in the Team Mickey (or sporting store) DD got to be a part of Disney Team Hoops and threw a couple baskets, with DH's help...she got a MM certificate for her efforts!

They also give them out at the xmas shop at DTD. They will ask a couple of children to color a paper oranment for the xmas tree and when they do they are given one.

Disney really does have a special talent for making special moments. Hope your dd is in to scrapbooking, that will give her smiles in years to come.

We were sooo lucky our last trip. While just sitting in front of the castle (along with abbout 10 000 other families) a very kind CM came up to my two DD (Ages 6 and 8) and invited them to turn off the lights in the MK in preperation for the Spectromagic padade.

When the time came she came and got them too them out into the middle of the street announced who they were, and what they were going to do.

She told them to hold up their Disney Princess Lights toys high over their heads (Hmmm, I wonder if this had anything to do with anything???) and bring them down when they were ready for the lights to go off. They did as they were told (with huge grins) and sure enough things went black, and the music started as their arms came down.

The CM gave them both hugs and Magic Moment certificates with their name and a discription of the event on it.

Sorry for being so long, but your post brought this memory back to me. :D

My DD also got a Magic Moments Certificate during our trip last week. She got to wake up Tinkerbell at Tinkerbell's Treasures in MK.

How neat for everyone who got a Magical Moments certificate. I love it when Disney does neat things like this!!

:teeth: :sunny:

That's really a great thing! Too bad they don't have these for "big" kids  !

My son got a Magic Moments certificate at the Crystal Palace as Chef of the day. We were one of the first families there for breakfast and they asked my 9year old if he wanted to be Chef of the day. He got to go up by the food and they had all the characters standing with him and they gave a plate of mickey pancakes then Pooh helped put whip cream on them. Each character then added another topping to his panckes. It was so awesome.Luckly I got all on video. This was our 8th trip to Disney and I had no idea they even had a chef of the day:D :jester: :jester:

Oh but they do!!!!!

My husband and I both got certificates one time for playing a game in a store in Downtown Disney. We were shown food items and had to guess which characters would have purchased each particular item.

I also got one for celebrating my birthday with lunch at Cinderella's Royal Table.

Yes, "big kids" can get one!!! My husband and I got one on our honeymoon in 2002. We went to Downtown Disney wearing our bride and groom ears. The CMs at the Disney at Home store were so sweet and made a big deal about it being our honeymoon (announcing it to everyone in the store). They gave us a Magic Moments certificate too!

I am also a big kid that got one. I was pulled into a street scence in France one day and recieved one with my name on it afterwards.

Our family got one for walking around the AKL lobby aimlessly one day. A CM noticed us, asked what we were doing (maybe we looked suspicious!), and when we replied that we were enjoying a resort day, she took us on a private tour of one of the savannahs. She spent about an hour with us, and in that time my DDs learned so much about South Africa, the animals, and the lodge. We saw this particular CM so many times throughout our trip that my DDs now have a new email pen pal!

Now it's REALLY cool! It will be interesting to see what happens on my next trip. I'm taking some WDW veterans and a newbie - my Dad. He is the biggest kid at heart, it should be a fantastic time!

congrats...isn't Disney the best at making moments magical?!

We were there last week and my BIL and his fiance got a mm certificate from Cinderella herself at the royal table breakfast in the castle.

They were wearing their bride and groom ears that my dh and I bought them. They had just gotten engaged at the world and my dh and I were so excited we bought them the ears. We then went to breakfast and the waitress asked what the special occassion was and we told her.

A few minutes later when Cinderella came to the table, she handed them a MM certificate with her autugraph. It was fantastic!!!!

We've gotten 2 of the.

1st, my brother and i were the first to tee off at LBV golf cub one morning......so at 6:45am, we were driven to the 18th green and allowed to pick the pin placement for the day. When we got to 18th tee box, there was a sign saying, It was my MM to pick the tee box for the day. Had my name and home town. wew were given a copy at the pro shop.

2nd, my daughter and I were the first to ride the water mice at GF one morning. we had to wake up the crew, and were given 1 hour free and a MM certificate.

I was scheduled to play a round of golf at Lake Buena Vista and was the first tee time of the day. I was asked to choose the placement of the pin on hole #9 - I was given a MM certificate for doing so....

We Love the Poly - which morning did your DD get to wake up Tink? We did that last week as well - isn't it cool!?
