I'm posting this resorts, too, to try to see if anybody else knows why I got it.

We just did a long weekend in an ASM Family Suite with an AP discount. When we checked in, the CM said we had an envelope. I assumed it was our MNSSHP tix but it was a $20 Disney Dining Card. The accompanying document just described the card and it had my name but it did not say who it was from or why it was given to me. My name was on the ASM ressie, not DH's, and my name was on this card. I had a "room only" ressie.

It was a specific Dining Gift Card, to be only used for food and beverages, not a general Disney gift card.

I asked Guest Services about it and they only knew that it had value but did not know why we had it.

We are DVC members and rarely use cash ressies and this is only the second time we have been at ASM. I am a Disney Mom reject but I really don't think that was the reason for the card.

We happily used it, though!

Does anybody have any ideas here?!?!?!

Florida residents receive a $20 dining card when they check into a vallue resort. using a certain code. This is reported on Mousesavers.com

Did you book thru a travel agent?

herc.

It's based on whatever package or code used when you booked the reservation. The more the package cost, the higher the dining credit. Kinda like an extra added bonus! We were not told how long this would be going on for.
