LOL - I loved that show when I was young! And I got to "meet" KITT when I went to California with my parents in '84. (That trip also included my first time at a Disney park.)

I always thought the Eagles song they used for the theme song was so perfect...the line "don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy" always made me laugh.
