Google Earth

Not sure if this site has been mentioned before.

Google Earth lets you zoom right in to the Orlando area ( as well as the rest of the world) and you can go down to near roof top level for most of the area - using satellite photos.

It doesnt get all of the parks in though for some reason.

Its very handy for seeing where you are staying and how to get from a to b.
You will need to download a little program to make it work but its well worth it.

I've got it, we have found in pure clarity:

Sea World
Wet N Wild (You can see people in the wave pool)
IOA
US
Epcot
Discovery Cove
MK
Monorail
Busch Gardens
Both Sanford & International Airports.

The other great thing about it is you can put in Start & Finish Points and it will 'drive' the route for you.

Hi Vicky - do you have any co-ordinates? I found epcot - spaceship earth looks cool - and MK. I think I found BG although I couldn't see any rollercoasters... I'm having trouble with others on your list though and would love to find them!

we have this. dh uses it to see where he'll be when hes at work as he works away, much of the time in america.

i did have a look at akl where we stayed last time and showed my mam and dad. pretty boring for them but exciting for me.

Is it just me, but I can't see MGM, AK or CBR clearly, they're just blurs. The other parks are fine.
Help!!

I use there search facility and when you have found what you are looking for click on the post and then "open this place mark" google earth will take you straight to the place

Every time I look at google earth I'm amazed at what you can see.
Although, I think opening up anything Disney to a non-believer is often met with subdued reaction
