It is becoming a "cult" kind of thing. At least that's what my website was called on a links page . The challenge just interests runners on the edge. Plus this is the first year for the Goofy race shirt.

So... does that mean that Goofy people (er.. that is participants doing the Goofy) get a Goofy race shirt and a Donald race shirt and a Mickey race shirt, OR does that mean the Goofy race shirt is in lieu of the other two. As someone else said on another thread, and I wholeheartedly agree, it IS all about the hardware.

WoooHoooo!! It is SO all about the t-shirts!!! I keep telling my husband this & he just rolls his eyes!!!! And Disney knows how to do t-shirts! I'm so psyched!!
Oh yeh, and there's always those kickin' medals, too.

I thought they gave Goofy t-shirts the last 2 years?

And let's not forget about all the queer gear & sparky stuff you can buy from those trailers after the races (and @ the expo)! I need to give Disney my $$, I just have to...

But I truly do feel so cool when I wear my 1/2 marathon sparky shirt & Minnie marathon shirt from last year. Disney does the schwag thing pretty good!

Whoa! I was tinkering with the idea today of going Goofy again in '08, but obviously I'm about a month behind the curve. BOOOO. I got on the WDW marathon weekend page and went "WHAT?!?! Full??? HOw can it be full?!?!" I know I didn't sign up this early last year. Soooo not fair! (Though probably better for my sanity *sigh*). So I get to put my all into student teaching and training for the local marathon. (and the thought "just a marathon" has crossed my mind more than once--I am certifiably crazy!). Booo I wanted an excuse to go to WDW (Goofy is a great excuse, whereas we have a local marathon at the beginning of Dec). Baton Rouge Beach Marathon here I come...it just doesn't have the same ring....bet it doesn't have as cool a metals or t-shirts either....or WISHers.
