I just bought 3 brand new sofa slip covers from a local thrift: 2 were neutral colors made of duck and were one piece slipcovers for $2.50 each. The 3rd was a green tweed that will go well with my blue theme and was a two piece slipcover - it was hung up in 2 pieces (had to hunt for both parts): the cushion cover was $1.99 and the sofa cover was $2.



Considering that each of these sells at around $88 to $125 on Amazon, I'm pretty stoked. Now I have to decide which ones to use and which one to put up in a closet for later!

I scored an Emilio Pucci sweater this week!

Found a really nice Pottery Barn bed skirt for $2.50. It's white with a dark brown stripe (hotel look). I'm going to make valances out of it.

Stopped at two Goodwill's today and found some bargains:

Hollister polo in great condition for my son
Landsend cardigan in great condition for me
Books 1-12 of the Remnants series for my son
Several (5?) books for myself
Two storage jars for my craft room

I think that's it. Passed up a Disney figurine clock thing. It was about five inches at the base and said "When Walt's away" and it had several Mickeys doing things/making plans, etc. It was marked $4.50, but I couldn't see how the clock part would open to replace batteries. I don't need anymore sit around things or I probably would have got it. Wonder how much it was new?

I recently found 2 Packit folders at the Goodwill. I got one for Christmas and used it on our NYE Disney trip and loved it, so I was thrilled 2 find 2 more in excellent condition for $3 each!

I am a huge Goodwill shopper, I buy almost all my clothes there. I love the Target clearance they get. I recently bought dd 6 pairs of the colored skinny jeans, all target clearance for $3.99 a pair. Such an amazing deal!
