Goodings

I'm trying to figure out to how handle grocery for our trip. I checked Goodings site and noticed they offer a delievery service. The prices aren't to bad. You have to spend at least $50 and they charge $10 for the service. Delivery is done between 9-6.

If I do this, I won't need to book a car service. Since it will just be my son and I, it's cheaper to use mears.

I'm wondering if anyone has used the delivery option with Goodings. If so, how was it? Would you do it again?

I have not tried the Goodings delivery but have used Netgrocer. They deliver to your hotel and will have it waiting for you you when you check it.

I know that Goodings is VERY expensive per item, you might want to compare the rates all around.

Goodings prices aren't much cheaper than just buying your milk and juice in the resort gift shop. If you're on a budget you might just bring your own food (extra suitcase) and buy your perishables in the hotel.

I found Goodings to be very high as well. The last two times we went to Disney, we used Tiffany Town Cars as our airport shuttle. They were very reasonable, and they allow you to stop at a grocery store to shop. They will suggest one of the larger chains to do your shopping. Granted they dont' allow you an hour, but if you have your list made out , you should be okay. You can check them out on line. I believe their website is 'tiffanytowncar.com' Good luck

We knew better, but went to Goodings in December because we just needed milk, bread, a couple of pieces of fruit and another item or two. It was a fortune!

We did have a car, so the next day we went to the Publix just a very few miles down the road. The prices there were pretty much like at home including lots of good specials in their ads. We loaded up the cart for about the same amount we'd spent the day before at Goodings.

Goodings might have a little nicer prepared food than Publix (though I'm not sure it's that much nicer) but you pay dearly for it.
