The reeks of corporate greed part is killing me. Disney is a corporation, and they have entered into sponsorships with other corporations since the park opened. This is not anything new, Disney has always had ties to large corporations to provide food and drinks in the parks.

It's a form of a strategic alliance that benefits both brands. Happens all the time with many corporations.

No, you and Jimmy was asking me to admit and I asked you in return. And I do not feel like you nor him were attacking me or others. However there were attacks and not only on me but other posters. I think some people just can't discuss on adult level without dropping all the garbage on others and no, not everyone is like that. I enjoy discussion with those who can do it but I am not interested in answering rudeness.

The release from Disney stated the MSB will be refurbished and reopen as a Starbucks location. Your opinion is that this can only be interpreted one way, MSB will be closed and a Starbucks will take its place. This is where I disagreed with you, I think it can be interpreted to mean it will be refurbished to include Starbucks coffee and other products, including many of the treats currently available. My interpretation is based on what happened in California. I haven't changed from this one bit.

I'm not a coffee drinker, but I would love a nice hot chocolate (not with water) or chai in the mornings while walking through MK so I'm actually happy about this. Then again, I can honestly say I never saw a taste difference in the croissant I got here vs. the one I get at the hotel in the morning. So maybe I just missed the Main Street love.
That being said, I think I'm not panicking quite yet because I have absolutely no doubt that Disney will tie this in nicely with an older, classic look. Honestly, the original Starbucks in Seattle could easily be on Main Street. I also cannot imagine Disney completely removing all of their bakery items from a store. We really cannot do anything but wait and see

If we cannot agree on definitions now, how will I be able to make you eat your hat in a year? I accepted particular situation as you originally asked me. But now you changing it to some vague definition, exit clause that we will fight on in a year. And on top of you say I deflect when I accepted your terms, now you just keep changing it and may I say deflect. Seriously, if you cannot do it, I have no problem. It was your call, your idea and I go for it, you do not seem to do the same.

Look. Here's what's going to happen.

Main Street Bakery is not changing names. It will continue to be called the Main Street Bakery and it will appear as such on maps etc. Expect tasteful Starbucks signage that blends in with the building.

The inside will see quite a bit of an overhaul, but will "feel" more or less the same. Expect a more open feel with a streamlined ordering process - potentially even self-serve kiosks if Disney can figure out a system that is foolproof. Lines are long at the Bakery as it stands because the setup is terrible. This is going to be fixed.

Starbucks coffee beverages will be served along with Starbucks food items alongside "Disney favorites." There is no finalized food menu. Disney/Starbucks doesn't want "competing items" on display. For example, Starbucks version of a sticky bun and Disney's version of a Cinnamon Roll. Bottom line here is what Disney thinks is going to be able to sell more. Realize that for every one person that has an attachment to the Disney Cinnamon Roll, there are X number more people that love a Starbucks ________. I would be surprised if the Ice Cream Sandwich survives. This is a guess, but you may see it available next door at the Plaza Ice Cream Parlor or potentially the Confectionery. It will remain available at Sleepy Hollow.

There is really nothing to be upset about. This is going to be an improvement in every regard.

First it wasn't my idea, another poster asked you to do this and you ignored them at first and then add more to your opinion about the colour of the tiles. I haven't changed anything.
