Actually you surprise me. I'm shocked and amazed that anyone would think he's intelligent at all. He got into his ivy league school because of daddy's pull, and we know he certainly didn't have top grades. I find his limited vocabulary to be very embarrassing to this great nation. It's pretty much proven fact that he didn't get where he is today because of anything he did himself. Carl Rove created his image, but IMO, he failed miserably.

I always found the way he speaks to be an embarrassment. There was a show or website that showed how he spoke while he was governor of Texas and running for president - to how he speaks now. Something is going on there (he was so much more verbal in the past) - and we probably won't find out for a few years after he leaves office what caused the deterioration of his speech patterns......

I do see quite a few very stupid people (Americans!) on a daily basis. I think our country is getting stupider. Sorry if that is too blunt but I don't know how some people function on a daily basis with what I've seen.

I wouldn't have chosen the same words you did, but sure, we have lowered our academic standard by a good bit. Take a look at this documentary sometime if you get the chance.

I agree with most of your post, but with regard to the one you quoted, I'm not surprised at all.
