Just thought I'd give some good news. My daughter's Dell laptop died last Monday night--wouldn't even turn on. I called early Tuesday. They said it is the motherboard. I'll have to send it in, but it's under warranty so no charge. The entire turnaround should take 14 - 21 days, they are backed up. I understand. As long as it is covered, I'm cool. The box to ship it comes Wed. I mail it Thursday. They got it by Saturday. I called Tuesday to make sure all is well. They said they are still backed up, it will be a couple of weeks. I'm like, okay. Guess what -- it got here on Thursday. That is 1 week and 2 days. I am so impressed. Wanted to share a good story.
