My mil wants to buy the children a wii game for Easter any suggestions? we only have mario kart which they love.
Thanks

My DS7 and DS5 love Mario at the Winter Olympics-it is a lot of fun for the whole family and does not require the balance board.

Hands down the best game, New Super Mario. Came out on Wii in November last year and it plays for a long time. We got it for Christmas and both my 3 and 5 year olds love playing it. We now have four remotes and all play together.

My son loves anything mario, he's 6 almost 7. Super mario party, super mario bros...but he also likes the lego ones...batman, indiana jones, star wars...

My boys, ages 6 and 8, LOVE Wii Sports Resort. They have the Mario games and they like them, but they are obsessed with Sports Resort. And I find that it gets them up and moving more than a lot of the other games. It's the only game they've played for well over a month.

My boys (5 and 6) LOVE the Star Wars LEGO as well as the Indiana JOne 1 and 2 Lego and Batman Lego. The Star Wars is easier (in my opinion) for them to play.

They are really into the Wii Sports right now (boxing esp) but the Star Wars games are the ones they keep coming back to.

TRU has B1G1 50% off. I know Batman, IJ 1 and SW are fairly inexpensive!

Thanks everyone :cool1:. I told my mil to get either the new mario or mario winter sports. i have 4 children so I would prefer a 4 player game.

I have 4 kids, ages 8 and younger, too. :goodvibes They LOVE the New Super Mario and the Mario Olympics. I think you can't go wrong with Mario. :)

My kids adore Super Mario for the Wii, but Sports Resort has been the one that is the most fun to watch them play! Keep in mind that you may need nunchucks (sp?) and the Wii Motion Plus remote for Sports Resort. Can't remember for Mario, but I don't think so. :confused3

Definitely!
My son also likes Madagascar Kart - kinda like Mario Cart; the new Toy Story Mania; and Diego Dinosaur Rescue. They are all great games for kids that age.

Rabbids are a HUGE hit in our house.

If you like multi-player, there is Rabbids TV Party ($20 new) where people play at the same time. It also is compatable with the Fit Board.

For one or two players they have Rabbids Go Home($29 new).

We like Mario Karts very much also. But kind of got sick of everything being Mario.

We use to play mario party 8 as a four player...2 teams of 2. The boys loved it when they were younger.

Mario Party 8 is a great family game; DD loves it when we all compete against each other. :thumbsup2

My son is almost 7, and his favorites have been...

Mario Kart
Sonic Riders
Super Smash Bros Brawl
Ice Age Dawn of the Dinosaurs
Wii Sports Resort
Wii Fit Plus (he loves the games)

He has played and then sold a lot of Mario games, tennis, baseball, galaxy, etc. They are fun but eventually get old.

ITA agree with any of the Rabbids games. First, rabbits for Easter! Second, these are the craziest, silliest, (sometimes a little gross) funniest, weirdest games I have seen. Boys LOVE these games.
