Good Walking Sandals?

I wear Teva sandals and I love them. They have just enough of an arch and they are very comfortable.

Sandals-If you are staying away from water Birki's are VERY comfy.

Shoes-New Balance or Brooks. You will notice that 99% of marathon runners are wearing one of these two brands and for a very good reason...Support and comfort!

I have a pair of FitFlop Walkstar III's that I love (bronze) but I could live in flip flops, so if flip flops bother you I wouldn't recommend for you to even bother checking them out. They are supportive as far as flip flops go, and the cushioning/shock absorbency is great on the knees (I had an unfortunate experience with Reefs... my favorite flip flops in the world, but I ended up with purple bruised knees from all the extra walking because the soles weren't thick enough!)... but they are expensive and I would definitely recommend breaking them in a bit before you go. Also, they don't offer half sizes, so that could be problematic in terms of rubbing your skin as well. If you really want to check out flip flops, I think they are fabulous, but you might not want to take a chance on them in Disney ;)

Have not yet focused on the world again, but I recently bought a pair of Keens to wear before leaving, and I love them! The most comfortable shoes I have ever owned.

For the other Keen fans, I found this posted on another thread...if you goto the clearance section on ONLINESHOES.COM you can find Keens for around $50!! I just bought 2 pairs to put away for the summer had to share!

Keens-wore them all summer to Six Flags and waterparks, etc. They are great. Also Teva Mush flip flops. My husband loves both of these shoes too.

I don't know if you're still looking, but I like Clark's sandals; they're mostly leather, which I find more comfortable. They have a lot of cute styles and colors too.

Good luck

I alternate between Teva mush flip-flops (wonderfully soft on your feet and I found the thong very easy to get used to, plus arch support, too) and MBT Kisumu sandals, which are so not stylish but are comfortable (and very expensive but good for my back). Shoes can be very different on people; I see a lot of votes for Keens. I bought a pair and had to give them to one of my daughters; the toe bar just fell in the wrong place for my foot and they gave me bad blisters.

Have not yet worn them to the World yet, but I recently bought a pair of keens to wear in before we go, and I LOVE them!!! Most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. My husband heard me raving so much about them, that he went out "just to try some on" and ended up buying them!

I just ordered my first pair of Keens today after reading this post...I am hoping they are comfortable for my upcoming trip!

For anyone out there with wide feet, Keens and Teva's probably won't fit you. I tried on at least a dozen and they were all cut too narrow. Fit Flops also were way too narrow - I had to go up 2 shoe sizes just to get my foot in, and then of course they were inches too long for my foot. I don't normally have to buy wide shoes but my foot is wider than average.

I ended up purchasing fake Fit-Flops from K-Mart, of all places. I think they were called TheraSandal or something like that. And a fraction of the price!

my vote is Crocs....Love love love them, and finally got my DH to wear them too..cant get them off his feet....wear them all week at Disney and never had any probs. The most comfortable shoes I have ever worn..I even wear them to work..I stand 6-7 hrs a day and they are wonderful.

I have seen several post concerning sandals etc on the boards recently. I personally never could wear anything other than a good pair of tennis shoes while visiting the parks (blisters & pain). Both my daughters seem to be very comfortable in regular old flip flops while my wife generally wears tennis shoes.:cool1::banana:

I love my Keens. I can wear them in water. They don't hurt my feet. My "sturdy" than other sandals. I love my crocs, but I have slipped in them. I worry they will "fall off" on rides and they are not quite as "sturdy".

Cons of Keens - as previously posted- don't fit wide feet. A little tricky to pull on if feet are wet. Can tend to be hot...

But they are my favorite for WDW. I take them every trip.

These all can perform so many things which is really very cool to know about it. I like it so much these all things are great to know about it. It can provide so many things which is good to know about it.

If you mean sandals instead of flip-flops..no question.. Keen.

Keens aren't cheap, but they are the best

I love my KEENS. I have two pairs. They are comfy, practical, washable, and sturdy. I wear them with or without socks.

I wear Teva sandals and I love them. They have just enough of an arch and they are very comfortable.

Me too!! I have Teva Tirra and LOVE them:lovestruc My feet were hurting in any other sandal until I got them. Got them for my DD-9 too at Sports Authority with a 20% off sale. Can't wait until 60 degree weather to wear them again :thumbsup2
