Good Universal Hotel for Teens Traveling Alone?

We wanted to give our daughter and a friend a trip to Universal over winter break. Both travelers are girls, one is 18 and one is 19. Does anyone know a good hotel near Universal Studios that will accept teens traveling alone or anyway to get an exemption from Universal for their 21+ policy?

There are reasons for the 21 and up policy. exemptions Are not going to happen on site. Not unless they are Active Duty Military.

as for any place off site that allows that age..well, they would not be ones I felt safe at. I say this as someone who worked in the hotel industry in a major tourist trap( Virginia Beach), and who currently lives in another major tourist trap.

I believe that Disney hotels have an 18+ requirement for check-in at their hotels.
You could book the girls into a value category resort, and they could Uber/Lyft to Universal.
If they are driving down to Orlando, then they can simply drive on over to the Universal parks.

The Fairfield Inn across the street (just off Kirkman Rd, near Vineland Rd.) will allow 18 year olds to check-in (or at least it has in the past). I would suggest calling just to ensure there won't be any issues.

It is within walking distance to Universal and it also has a shuttle as well.

Extremely doubtful a ‘good’ property would grant an age exemption to their stated policy.

Google search will help you narrow down which properties

Personally, I’d start researching with the nearby Universal chain hotels (Hilton, Marriot, Choice, La Quinta). Be prepared for them to use uber etc. if no hotel shuttles or walking distance.

I understand you are looking at a U trip, however, It’s much easier to gift this sort of trip in the Disney bubble, as all transport (including airport) is included with an onsite room
