Good thoughts, please, for a co-worker**Short update**

A nurse at work was at a hospital tonight with her 15 y.o. brother, who was just diagnosed with leukemia. While she was there, she and her boyfriend got the call that his 17 y.o. son had been in a car accident involving a semi. They had to use the jaws of life to get him out. So, they had to leave one hospital to head to another. Her "step-son" has a broken hip, broken wrist, concussion, and internal bleeding. They were just getting ready to do a CAT scan on him to determine the full extent of his injuries.


So, she is going to be shuttling back and forth between these two hospitals, which are a good hour+ away from each other. I can't imagine the stress and worry she must be going through!s

Quick update: They removed his spleen and have pinned his hip and wrist. They also had to do plastic surgery around his eyes and mouth. Apparently his mouth area was damaged quite a bit. But, only a mild concussion as far as the brain goes.
