Good Thoughts & Maybe Some Pixie Dust Please

Good afternoon everyone.

I was wondering if we could possible get some good thoughts and possibly some pixie dust. Today we are having an open house today. We have had our house on the market for a little while now and no serious offers yet. My DH is starting a new job on July 16. We had all hoped to move together, but now it looks like he will be going out first by himself and we will all followafter the house is sold. Please keep your fingers crossed for us!

Best of luck. I too have never seen so many houses for sale around here. Looks like everyone is either trying to get off the island in droves or maybe moving up. But in our neighborhood a 30 year old house with no basement is like $325,000. I don't know how young people can afford it. Lots of pixie dust coming your way. Hope you like your new place. I sure missed bagels and good pizza in texas when we left ny. Now that I am back here in ny I miss barbeque etc.

I think all of your thoughts and pixie dust really worked. We received a great offer today and have accepted it. Hope everything continues to go smoothly. The buyer is selling a condo and has to see about getting either a bridge loan or a home equity loan. We're all keeping our fingers crossed!

To luvmarypoppins - I know what you mean about bagels and pizza. Every time I visit my brother in Vegas I bring him bagels. I heard it's also tough to get good chinese takeout!

That is great! Remember, whatever happens will be for the best, and it will work out better than you can imagine right now- read don't worry if it flips, someone else will come along. I thought Long Island was a much sought after community. Here in KC you cant hardly keep a house on the market they go so fast. I would rather live there than here! I used to get fresh bagels in Detriot, but here, all you have is chain bagel places. Oh jeez you all made me hungry for a Cheese bagel, and I cannot get one here!
