We are driving down the end of January. Normally we stay in Kingsland, GA, but DH is thinking that he would like to stay in St.Augustine and check out an outlet or 2. Can anyone recommend a decent hotel that is reasonably priced that is close to the outlets? Thanks!!

I wish I remembered the name of the place we stayed in August because I would tell you to avoid it at ALL costs. It was horrible- smelled like bleach, dirty. We cut our two nights down to one, demanded money back because of the smell, and headed to Disney a day early.

Nice place, beach access, and a yummy free breakfast. Friendly staff, also. Rooms were fine, and a decent rate. We plan on making it our standard stop on the way down. We went in January.

Darn. Beach motel, not outlet motel. But if you change your mind, you might want to consider it.

I love the casa Monica...it ain't cheap but it's worth every penny
