Good restaurants for solo travelers?!

I will be in Anaheim for business at the end at the end of the month. For my days in the parks (after my conference has concluded), my boyfriend will be with me. But I may have the odd lunch or dinner where I'll be dining alone in the days before. I imagine for some of these days I'll stick to options at my hotel (Hilton Anaheim), but for times when I have a good amount of time for my meal, I'd love to explore as many options as possible at the Disneyland resort! I'm open to options at any of the resorts or DTD (I only have two days of park tickets, and my boyfriend and I have reservations for these days). When dining alone, I prefer to sit at a bar or even a table outside (IDK why a table inside feels weird, but it does!). Which restaurants have a good "solo" vibe? I am completely open to chatting with other diners, I just don't want to be the only solo diner in a sea of families, KWIM?! I am also completely adventurous with food, and will eat anything from a cheap slice of pizza to unusual seafood at a 5 star restaurant. Cuisine type isn't nearly as important as a decent solo traveler vibe, since I'll eat basically anything. TIA!!

Uva Bar in DTD, there's bar and outdoor seating. Trader Sam's also has bar and outdoor seating. I've done happy hour at Tortilla Jo's, but I don't think it's as good of an option for a solo as the other 2. I haven't done it at DTD, but on another trip I went to ESPN Zone and asked for one of the reclining seats in front of the TV wall.

Thanks for the reccs!! UVA's menu looks great. Trader Sam's was on my list for after Disneyland on a Mickey's Halloween Part night with my boyfriend, but knowing it's solo-friendly is great, too!

The bar in the lounge at NR is nice. The bartenders are super nice, and you can order off the full menu there. The S55 lounge also has a bar and a lounge menu. Do you like live jazz? Jazz Kitchen has live music in the Flambeaux Room. You can find the schedule on the JK website.

I'd recommend the NR or Hearthstone Bar at the GCH or the Uva Bar in DTD!

I've been feeling a lot of of love for Tangaroa Terrace lately, if you find that you want a quick-service meal rather than table service. (You order at the register and then they bring your food to your table.) They have lots of outdoor seating, and I love the vibe with the tiki torches, the pool/sign, and the fire place. Particularly at lunch time I find it really relaxing.

I will second the Tangaroa Terrace. It is great for a quick bite to eat. I eat there by myself frequently. There are only a few inside tables, but a lot of outside areas to eat. Earl of Sandwich is also a great place to eat alone. They have big tables outside. I know that you don't need in park suggestions, but Cove Bar is great if you are alone.

Thanks, everyone! This is so helpful! I'll have a great shortlist on my phone of go-to options :)

I have had an excellent meal at the Napa Rose Bar, although not solo.
Bar appetizers and the full restaurant menu is available anywhere in the lounge, but you will likely want to sit at the actual bar. Reservations are not accepted for the lounge, but on busy evenings there is a waiting list to be seated -- The waiting list likely does not apply to the bar stools, so just take a seat.

I've eaten at Trader SAMs by myself and it's fun to sit at the bar and talk with the bartenders. You don't have to order an alcoholic drink. They have a great menu.

I visit the parks all the time solo and I don't have a problem dining solo when I have the urge to grab something to eat. If you want something quite I suggest Steakhouse 55. Appetizer type food with a little entertainment I would suggest Trader Sam's. I absolutely love the food at the Jazz Kitchen and I usually request something outside so I can people watch.

I have dined solo at the Alfresco tasting terrace above the Wine Country Trattoria and have loved it.
Like I said, I won't have park tickets for the days that I'd be solo, but that menu does look delicious!

Definitely adding the bar at NR to my list after all of these recommendations!!

I do love the menu at Trader Sam's!! I'll probably go there for early dinner/drinks with my boyfriend after a park day, but I MAY also consider it for a lunch as well because I don't want to get to the end of my trip and not have eaten there!

Ralph Brennan also looks great! I love eating outside, too.

Whitewater Snacks in the GCH is an option. You can sit inside or outside. We prefer to sit outside at one of the tables so we can peek at the people inside DCA, but they can't see you!

I would also look at the Restaurants on Harbor and nearby the Hilton.

Some of my favorites are Mimi's Café, and the Pizza Press near the Main Pedestrian Entrance tp Disneyland. Both good Solo options.

I also love the options at the Anaheim GardenWalk, including Fire+ICE, Roy's and the Cheesecake Factory, but all options are good. Many locations will sit you at the bar and serve food, great for a solo traveler.

Next to the CVS at Harbor and Katella, I like the Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf for a good coffee/tea and snack.

Also, I would look at spending a day at The Outlets at Orange nearby. Lots of dining, entertainment and shopping.

ALL of them! On my last solo trip, I did the WOC dessert, Carhay Circle, Blue Bayou (even a table by the water without asking), and the Tea at Steakhouse 55!

Ahhh, Fire + ICE! Brings me back to college in Providence. Went there a few times, wouldn't mind revisiting! Thank you!
