Good Restaurants by Homewood Suites on Parkway?

We are trying to keep costs down by eating some meals off-site. Can someone tell me if there is any restaurants close to Homewood Suites on Parkway Blvd. off 192? Also,how about any grocery stores? Thanks A Bunch!! Julie

Having no car or transportation is not a handicap when you stay at the Sheraton Safari. But be aware that the traffic in the area can be quite heavy at times making crossing the streets a definite adventure. But if you can navigate your way through the traffic, you are in easy walking distance of the following restaurants:

Pizza Hut (next door), Chinese food (next door), Sizzler
Tony Roma's, Steak 'n Shake, The Ale House
Macaroni Grill, Shoney's, Dunkin Donuts
Subway, IHOP, Denny's
Burger King

Slightly further away in the Crossroads Shopping Plaza but still within walking distance:

Red Lobster, Perkins, TGIFriday's
McDonald's, Pebbles, Jungle Jim's
Taco Bell, Hooters

If you have a car, about 1/4 mile down SR 535 at the Vineland Avenue lights is a Golden Corral, Bahama Breeze, Longhorn Steakhouse, and Landry's.

Will you have a car? If not, there's a small grocery store (not a big selection, but has the essentials) at the corner where you turn in to Parkway Blvd. If you do have a car, there's a large Publix a few miles down 192 (turn left out of Parkway and it's on your left side).

I'm drawing a huge blank on the restaurants , but I know there's a ton fairly close by.
