Hello,

I'd appreciate any advice on which restaurants to choose for good quality Childrens meals. My daughter will eat pizza etc.. but as we are visiting for 14 days on ddp I'd like to go to some restaurants with a few different choices for her.

Can you recommend anywhere with really nice Kids food options or where the food has been particulaly fresh?

We are happy to go anywhere in the parks, resorts etc..

TIA :)

honestly: buffets.

most of the complaints I see WRT kids menus is the utter lack of anything vaguely resembling non processed foods( chicken nuggets and fries) and the fact that nearly everybody has the same stuff so there is no opportunity for variety. or upgrade to Adult DP for her if you think it is worth the effort.

Are you looking for CS or TS places?

If you take the time to study the menus a little, I'm sure you will be able to find things that sound appealing to your daughter. :goodvibes Here's a link to the menus for you..

I have found that a lot of the restaurants in the World Showcase seem to have a better variety for the kids menus. Here's an example at Chefs de France..

Filet de limande saute avec haricots vert et tomatoes - Pan roasted flounder served with green beans and tomatoes. Includes choice of whole milk, 2% milk, apple juice or orange juice. Soft drinks available upon request, refills available. - $8.00

And as far as CS in Epcot, I would suggest Sunshine Seasons.. Here's an example of their kids meals there..

Chicken Leg - Served with mashed potatoes and a beverage. - $3.99

It might take a little time, but reading the different menu will definitely make things easier. Not all kids meals have to be the same. :thumbsup2

DS 7 has more of an adult palate when comes to food. Here are some we like....

Columbia Harbour House - Mixed Green with Chicken (CS)
Cosmic Rays - Turkey Sandwich (CS)
Yakitori House - Teriyaki Chicken (CS)
Flame Tree - Baked Chicken Drumstick (CS)
Wolfgan Puck Exp - Spaghetti (CS)

Mama Melrose (Fan PK if possible) - Garden Saland/Chicken Parmigiana/Dessert (TS)
Teppan Edo - DS usually get Ebi (Shrimp) TS
LeCellier - Cheddar Cheese Soup/Steak/Dessert (TS)

And obviously all the favorite buffets such as Ohana, Crystal Palace, Tusker House etc. since kids could eat whatever is offered....

Thanks very much for the advice. I had just been looking at the Kids menus and hadn't thought that about Buffet options. I think opting for buffets along with some of the Epcot choices should work well for us. :)

I agree with PP, Buffet/family style resturants are the best for the kids. Our kids love Ohana, Hoop Dee Doo, Liberty Tree, as they get to eat real food.

Raglan rd at DTD does smaller portions of adult food for kids - we have eaten there a few times and have always enjoyed it.

Teppan edo at Epcot also serves the kids the same as adults so chicken/rice/noddles veg, my DD loved the food and the chef cooking.

For QS options the menu at Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD says kids can have a small portion of anything on the menu - there are a few kids chioces aswell.
