Good pizza?

Hi there...

We will be staying at the CR in the tower with a Magic Kingdom view (!!! !!!) and I have an intense NEED to have really awesome pizza while watching the fireworks from my balcony.

I would appreciate all your recommendations...and non-recommendations on pizza in and around the world.

Truth is my experience with pizza in DW has been hit and miss.

-Disney Quest Cheesecake Factory Express pizza by-the-slice....HIT!

-CBR Bluerunner Room Service Pizza...MISS!

-Grand Floridian Room Service Pizza...MISS!

Unfortunately the Cheesecake Factory Express is no longer there so now I'm on a mission to find good pizza I can have delivered or bring back to our room.

Our favorite pizza places are Godfather's Pizza, Mr. Gatti's, Famous Ray's (New York)...is there anything comparable?

I'm thinkin...really runny greasy cheese pizza!!

Where oh where can I find this in Disney????

We LOVE pizza and normally have it 1-2 times a week. One thing I really miss in Disney is pizza. I don't like Chicago style pizza (even though I'm in the Chicago area). I like thin crust pizza. So, in disney, we've never really ordered out and had pizza delivered...in restaurants there, not fond of pizzafari. My favorite (I know this will sound odd) is at Crystal Palace. Hopefully someone will be able to give you some input on where to order a pizza from...I'd be interested in this as well.

I am SURE that you'll need pizza delivery from off site to get good pizza. Especially considering you've not liked most of your prior pizza purchases at Disney.

Do they still have the Wolfgang Puck Express at DTD? If so, they have great pizza. Otherwise, we've struck out with pizza at WDW - not crazy about Pizzafari, Pizza Planet, or the Village Haus pizza.

YES I think they do! I forgot about WPE...I haven't tried the pizza but I know everything else there is pretty awesome. Good call! thanks!

We do miss our pizza when at DW. The "next best thing" we've found is the flat breads at the Saratoga Springs Resort. It holds us over

We like Giordanos if you order chicago style order early as it take awhile to cook/deliver. They have a website you can check out. This to me is the best choice as i have not found any WDW pizza i like.

Yum! Do you know if they deliver to the resorts--the Contemporary to be specific.

They deliver to all Disney resorts (in my experience)

We were there in the begining of this month and I had the pizza at the Pizzafari (I think that's what it's called, it's the pizza place at AK.) I thought it was really good, and I'm not a big pizza person at theme parks. I'm not sure how good it would be after the commute from AK to CR, but it was very good.

No such thing as good pizza in WDW. But I'm spoiled by what's available to me in New Jersey. The only good pizza I've had in Florida is Bizzarro's in Indialantic.

We stayed at Pop and got pizzas to take to the room one night from the food court. They were actually very good, I was surprised. Is all the pizza in Disney not the same?

I was wondering if they were different from resort to resort...because we tried both Caribbean Beach Resort's BlueRunner and also had room service at Grand Floridian and didn't care for either.
