We leave a week from tomorrow for WDW. Going with friends who have never been before. Can't wait.

Our 5 month old kitten had something wrong with her eye almost a week ago. After antibiotics and eye drops all week, it looks like new now. She's running and leaping around the house like before.

DH and DS7 made my birthday cake. DH baked it, frosted it, handed it off to DS7 to write happy birthday. This is how it turned out:

I am off work today (Thank You Native American Day) and about to head over to a brewery to see a friend I haven't seen since January 2020.

My son and I recovered from Covid and both of us had only a couple of tough days of symptoms and overall, pretty mild cases. I am so grateful!

I'm extra grateful today to have talked with my 99-year-old friend (extra grandma or even great grandma to me) from church and hear that she's doing well. My cat plays fetch.

Mine does too! He has a little black cube that he has claimed as his own. We don’t even know what it is from. He puts in his mouth and calls us then will bring it to us and drop it. We throw it and he brings it back to us! We love it (except when playtime is the middle of the night and I mistake it for a bug in the bed!).

The cat we lost last year also played fetch. With sewing bobbins. He once returned it to me 32 times in a row. No idea how we even figured that out. But it was so fun. Miss him a lot.

That's impressive. My older dog is super lazy and now just looks at me when I say fetch and throw something.

My heat just turned on which means the furnace works for yet another 9 months.

I'm jealous. It's supposed to be 96F today where I live.

Neither of my kids is sick. So far, DS11 has missed 4 days of school due to a virus both kids had and DS15 has missed 6 days.

I get to see all my grandkids this weekend. I also see my DS's but I get to play with the grandkids.
