Good news and bad news

Ok, you have almost a full year for this trip. You mean B-I-L (aka Dumbo) cannot save his pocket change every day & come up with enough money to kennel these cats? Puhleeze, that is NOT the issue.
All I can say is the kids are lucky to have you as their Aunt. Bring your parents & the kids (kidnap them to surprise them if you have to - ok, not really kidnap but you know what I mean!). If DSis does not have the cajones/cahones, whatever, you know what I mean, to stand up to her hubby (and hello, can't she just save up for the next YEAR for the kennel cost?), then maybe she doesn't deserve to go either.
PLEASE take the kids & grandparents & have an awesome time.

Agreed.Take your parents. We don't know what is going on between sis and her husband. What little I have read I would not push too many buttons.

Maybe after this trip and all the good times are related to sis then she may figure out a way to go next time.

I just looked up the price of a Litter Maid. Maybe there are some cheaper deals but it's $143 at Petco. If they are going to use it regularly it pays to purchase, but IMHO for this one trip it seems like a kennel can't be much more, and may possibly be even less costly.

Looks like a great item though for those who would use it for multiple trips.
