Good morning. I woke up at 4:00 thirsty. At 4:30 my dd11 came in to tell me her ear hurt. She's had allergies and a cold so I'm thinking infection. We did the Tylenol, elevate head, heating pad thing and now she's watching Pirates of the Carribean and says it feels fine. Can I get a little sleep now?
My dh's aunt and uncle are coming for a visit today and staying overnight. Something to look forward to!

My cat didn't want to sleep in either (and just when I was in the middle of the coolest dream, too....) Now that he's got me awake, he's gone back to sleep smack in the middle of my bed. I may wring his scrawny grey neck.

Good morning Laurie. Good morning everyone. My dog didn't sleep in either but it's been hot here. We opened the windows last night to let the cool air in and I guess by this morning our dog had had enough and came down to cooler ground!!

I've been having trouble sleeping lately, and had a cup of a nice herbal tea ;ast night that sent me off to dreamland pretty well....but woke up a bit too early...oh well! Got up an took a walk!

chrismiss, I have three. My dogs were all adopted from shelters and all mixes. My first one is 13 and she's a fluffy lab mix. No one has really ever figured out exactly what she's mixed with.
Then I adopted two sisters almost a year ago. One is definitely a golden, and the other one looks like a grayhound? or something similar with shepard coloring.

My lab and golden are both very good dogs, very calm, relaxed, gentle and fun.
The other one is nervous, easily startled and has snapped at me once or twice. As long as things are quiet and calm in the house, she's happy, but she's going to be a little more difficult to deal with than the other two.

Good morning! Sunny hot day in Chicago today....going to be around 95. LOVE IT!!!!

Hmmm, the heat...maybe that is why Cocoa barked for me to come downstairs and "play" at 2:00 a.m.?? DH was sleeping downstairs so she was not in her crate and I guess she was bored. She always sleeps through the night.
