The sun is trying to shine here today, but it may take a little while to get up it's energy.
Today is Thursday, right? lol Happy Day, whatever it is.
Today is the first day of school for my not so little one. She's going to be so tired today. She didn't get started getting ready until I got home from work last night. We were up til 1am. What took the longest was her getting her backpack ready. It had to be just so.
But she's ready, and already off to school. Her bus time is earlier than last year. bummer.
Her sister is having a fun and fabulous time at college orientation week. They have parties and lectures, and she said they are all so fun she loves it all. She found a friend from highschool there.
She also found a free shotokan(sp) karate class. That's what she was taking for a couple years and school got in the way. She is thrilled to find it again. I hope the sensei is as good as the one she had here.
She has a job working in the dorm kitchen. That girl is doing every thing she can do to pay for this herself. I am so proud of her. She's growing up to be even more than I hoped.
