FWIW, I find the red focus assist light pretty annoying, too. Not quite on the level of a laser pointer but similar.

I'm with Code, though - even if you could, why would you ever want to? It makes even the best ride (and HM is the best ride as we all know! ) look like a junky carnival sideshow ride.

WOW those are some amazing shots! I've never even attempted to get a picture on HM....I just take pics of the kids outside & scrapbook them!
