Good Golly Miss Molly is Going to Disney World!

This is my VERY FIRST PTR! so bear with me and I will try and make this a easy as possible.

The cast, well there are 15 of us(could turn into 16) so here goes

This is Katie and I(I am the blonde) .. this will be our 3rd Disney trip together! She is also a DISer and hopefully I can get her to jump in on this thread because she is our unoffical travel agent! We both should be Juniors in college but are more like Sophmores OH and this will be our first trip to Disney with us both being 21! WAHOO! And neither of us really know how many times weve been we just know its a lot!

OH! and we cant forget Molly!!! She will be 15 months old on the trip and is my little girl This will be her first trip to Disney but certainly not her last Yes she already has ears, they were given to me as a baby shower gift!!!

Well as you saw in the first post Katie and I have been to Disney many times and when we went in October '09 we started talking about a group trip at Chirstmas time 2011, I was actually pregnant on that trip but she didnt know yet. Our group travels quite a bit together, the parents went to Vegas and New Orleans together and as a whole group we have been to OBX and Boyne, we are also Colts season ticket holders together, so to say the least this is my Extended Family

We both took it upon ourselves to talk our parents into the trip, and once they were on board we knew the other families would follow. This wasnt an easy task, our moms both said yes right away but our dads were a little harder. I know my dad hasnt been back to Disney since I was a freshman in highschool and I am not sure about Katies but I am sure its been that long. Plus we were trying to do this trip at Christmas time! After a few weeks we finally got them on board and like we knew the other families followed suit.

After looking at booking litterally the DAY prices came out we uickly realized a Christmas trip for 16 people wasnt going to happen so we changed the dates, July 7-14(our normal vacation time). Yes we are going to Disney during Peak season in the middle of summer, we are crazy and we know it.

Although I don’t believe I have any followers I will continue with this PTR in hopes someone will jump on and it also gives me a place to talk about all the plans so my friends and family don’t get bored of Disney talk

Where in the World do 15 people stay?

That wasn’t such an easy answer, my family has stayed at both POR and CSR, Katies family has stayed at GF, POR, POFQ and off site. When planning we both knew if we were gunna do Disney we were going to stay on site, that’s the only way to do it! I have always wanted to stay on the monorail loop but we couldn’t get the whole gang on board with Cont. or GF we wanted something close to the parks so we wouldn’t have to load up the stroller every time. After some debate we decided on BC a short little walk over to Epcot where we could then catch the monorail.

Since we are a Grand Gathering we could book all together and have the rooms all in the same area, which is a major plus for us because when we travel together to other places we normally rent a house and all share that. We are used to being in close quarters. We are also pretty heavy social drinkers so having all the adult beverages in one centralized location close to everyone

YAY i have a follower i will try and update soon with molly's first birthday inching its way closer I have had to put Disney planning off for a little while to get ready for the big day!! but as soon as the party is over i will post pictures of it and start updating more! thanks again!
