Hi,

I don't post here too much but read lots so hope no one minds me posting this! I was just about to book indirect AA flights which are slightly cheaper when I found this instead - and I prefer to fly from uk!

Just to let you all know that I've managed to book flights for my may trip for what I think is a great price at the moment!*

I've booked 1-17may for aprox £1300 for 3 people on aer lingus then virgin flights. It's via the Expedia ie site and works out at €528pp (aprox £438).

There are lots of different dates available in may when I played with it Although you need to go through to the screen where it shows you the total for your selected in and out bound flights as it reduces the flight prices - before that it leads you to believe it was much higher. The last time I booked Expedia flights this was on the Ireland site it did the same price reduction thing and the three of us flew for £750 aprox - it's not as good as that now unfortunately but that was about 3 yrs ago!*

Only thing to watch is that many of the connecting flights on out or return are with BMI or Aer Lingus flights starting with a 1 - these go in or out of LHR and you need to transfer to LGW. *The Expedia uk site has much higher prices (or it did when I looked!)*

I've booked flight numbers: AL 232 then VA 15 followed by VA 16 and AL 237.*

You really need to play with the dates and the separate flights but good luck and I hope it helps someone else.*

Christie :thumbsup2
