Yes, very interesting. This kind of stuff works, too. My daughter and I visited 15 colleges over the last year. One of the schools took a picture of the tour group and emailed it to her as a souvineer. One provided lunch to everyone on the tour (that one must cost them) and had the names of the tour participants scrolling on the bottom of the intro video. And one school not only had a welcome video with names, but provided cold water from the model dorm's fridge halfway through the tour. That tour guide also made it a point to talk to each tour participant individually along the tour. I'm not sure if she was told to or if she was just naturally very friendly, but she made an impression. Only one of these schools made my daughter's final list, but the point is, these are three of the schools that we actually remember the little details from. Their tours DID stand out from the others.
