Anyone have any tips? My dh and his dad want to golf while we are there.
We will be going first 2 weeks of October...do you think they need to book something in advance? They were hoping to play it by ear, wait to see what the weather was like.

We enjoy golfing while in Disney World but we never take our clubs, too cumbersome to haul for a loop, so we rent. We bring a bag of tees and some balls. Renting clubs isn't that bad, they were Titelist last trip. We don't make tee times but play it by ear, and always go after 3 pm, these were twilight times and the rates are or were alot cheaper but you have to play rather fast to get 18 in before dark falls. We always stay deluxe and the front desk will call a cab and pay for the meter or provide other transportation for you. It's kinda expensive but thee courses and views are worth it.

I live in GA and actually went to Orlando just to play golf about 3 years ago. There are more golf courses in that area than there are golfers. The Disney courses are great. If he wants to play those I would recommend making tee times asap. Howevere there are other courses in the immediate area that you can play for cheaper and are nicer than the Disney courses because they don't get beat up so much with the huge number of tourists playing them.

Thank you for your responses. My fil doesn't want to book anything in advance so at least it sounds like they shouldn't have too much trouble finding a tee time.
