Golfing while on vacation

My husband is looking for some information about golfing in Orlando. Not necessarily on Disney as we will be visiting Universal, Disney and Sea World. We will be offsite and there from December 13th to December 19th. He looking to go during the week. Any information on some good courses in varying price ranges would be appreciated.
Names, prices and phone numbers would be great if you have them but anything would help.

My husband enjoys playing the Magnolia course at Disney. If you're interested in onsite golf at all, Marc's Golf Site has a lot of great information about the different courses, degree of difficulty, and available discounts.

I would also recommend having a Look at Pro Golf Guides of Orlando, who have excellent tuition plus a good web site with a lot of course information. Check out www.progolfguides.com

Hello, we play a lot of golf in the Disney area and would recommend the following courses for value and quality. Southern Dunes is our favorite. 15 mile easy drive from Disney on highway 27 south in Haines City. Kissimmee Bay is also a very good course for the Money. If he wants to spend a little extra and he is a good golfer I would suggest Celebration Golf Club just a short drive from Disney...For lower price golf that is OK, not spectacular but fun I would suggest The Legends or Kings Ridge on 27 north toward Clermont...again an easy drive from Disney...good luck and have him email me if he has specific questions...Ted
