Golf Cart to Wilderness Lodge???

Can we drive the golf carts over to Wilderness Lodge for a dinner reservation?

When you check in you get many pieces of paper one of which says, "no golf carts to WL".

PS-but it is an easy walk or a short boat ride over to the Lodge
