Thank you everybody for your help. I had a freak out moment about renewing passes but I think it’s fixed.

I will try but the warning triangle says they are “no longer sold”.

It’s not preventing me from buying a pass; it’s redirecting me to a platinum pass as the only available renewal option.

you Have to call to renew. We haven’t been able to renew online for years, if ever.

I thought you could never renew gold passes online, that it always took a call?
I hope so because the message that they don’t sell them anymore gave me a jump. I’m gonna be calling in a few hours.

I had looked at it a few weeks ago and I’m pretty sure I even put them in my queue but it won’t let me do that anymore. I can’t even find the links to compare them, price-wise.

IIRC - I’ve always had to call to renew our Gold APs

So. My DVC Gold Pass expires in Sept. When I tried to renew it this evening the only option it lets me select is the Platinum pass.

It specifically says the Gold Pass is no longer avail.
DVC passes can't be renewed online, you must call MS. Only Tourist (non-discounted) and FL Resident passes can be renewed online. I renewed our FL Resident Gold Passes in June and many DVC members have called and renewed theirs recently.

Call MS to renew your GOLD pass.

AFAIK, we have always had to call MS to renew DVC annual passes. Policy is what @erionm just posted.

Had that message last year too. To renew DVC gold you must call DVC or do it in person.

Thank y’all again. VI Pass services arranged for ticketing to call me back so that I didn’t have to wait hours on the phone.

I got a call back about 9 am and they promptly renewed our gold passes - and October park reservations are now booked.

Thank y’all for talking me down. I saw that “gold passes are no longer sold” and freaked out about the planning of our October trip.

I have a question about the Gold Pass. My dad just renewed his, and his says that it expires 12/31/2099, obviously because he hasn't activated it yet. When he does activate, will he have 1 year from when his previous Gold Pass expired? Or one year from activation date? I always assumed a renewal would simply roll over starting on the previous annual pass expiration date.

In my case, mine expired 7/21, but I can still renew. If I renewed, would I be able to activate it on 7/9/23 and use it for a year?
