Does Gold Bond Friction Defense work on your feet? I've worn no-show bootie type socks and tried mole skin on my heels, but always wind up with a blister of some sort. I read about the friction defense stick and was hoping it would prevent blisters.

Also, how do you use it? Do you just put it one like deodorant but on your feet?

ETA: Is the Gold Bond recommended or is there something better out there?

I'm about halfway through our week here right now. I have always blistered badly plus I have a bunion on my great toe that rubs against the next toe. Moleskin never worked for me. I also tried applying small strips of the silver electrical tape to the pressure spots. It looks silly, but it works, and the tape will last through a couple of showers before you need to reapply, kind of a pain to remove however.
I did the tape when I wore sandals (Teva) to the parks. Lately due to my knees I've opted for a good pair of Sauconys for park days. I buy a travel size Vaseline and apply it around my toes before I put on my socks and sneakers. So far my feet are fine and we're logging 6-8 miles a day on the Fitbit.

I use the Band-Aid friction block stick on my feet- and I go without socks in croc sandals at the park. It helps prevent blisters.

If you want socks, get a some double fabric runners socks. They're light weight and great for lots of walking. The two layers of fabric rub against each other when you walk, so your skin isn't doing the rubbing against fabric or sneaker. (I've also used Friction Block from Band-Aid.) Plus, every night I put lotion on me feet. I never get blisters anymore.

My shoes are always Sketcher's GoWalks. They're so dang comfortable for long days of walking.

BodyGlide and running socks. No need for specialized BodyGlide, just get the basic stuff. It goes on the bottoms and sides of my feet and around each toe.

Themeparks aren't a time for cotton no show socks. :)

I'll look into the body glide as well...maybe i'll get one of each and see which one i like better before we go.

I know i should get regular socks, but i can't stand wearing my chucks with them because they show. As crazy as it sounds they are my most comfortable shoes, until i get a blister on one of my two heels. It's always one or the other, never both, which is a good thing.

Don't get regular socks. Get specific double layer running socks.. they do have versions that don't come above the shoe line.

It works just as well as the pricier products under socks (wicking) and easily found @ WM. Never hurts to change your socks midway thru the day if prone to blisters.

When i wear my keens H2Os don't even both with it :). Dorky looking but they are incredibly comfortable
