I'm taking my 11 students in July. They are all 14-15. My first question is how many adults does Disney require to be in the group? My second question is how many would you recommend?

Also, because we are coming from Mexico, does anyone know if we will need letters from their parents to go through US immigration without their respective parents?

BTW, all of my students but 2 have been to WDW before...

:)

I would think at that age you would be fine with only two adults. Ratio-wise, one would normally be enough, but if anything happens, you really need at least two to deal with any problems. When we travel with a high school marching band of 150 students, we have about 12 chaperones.

As far as the issues with going through immigration, this is definitely NOT the place to ask. You would need answers from official sources for that one. If you are trying to pass through border control and do not have the right documentation, "Well, one lady on disboards told me..." won't cut it! Good luck, have fun~

Although I agree about Immigration, I'd expect that the answer would be "Yes, you need their signatures". The reason I say that is that we live right on the US side, and when DS's soccer team went into Mexico (Monterrey) for a game, they had to have signed letters from their parents. What was explained to us was that the countries don't want problems with International Kidnapping.
