Has anyone here every gone with friends? I am a little scared that we are going to fight the whole time. We are also splitting off from are parents so any suggestions on that?

honestly lemme think about it....

okay...i have only gone to disney three times without friends and we go alot cause it is only three hours away. since i was about..hmm...12 i have broken off from my parents and they took my little brother and i go with friends. we do get into fights but by the end of the day we are better friends than before...we also have a strong friendship...but i think you will be fine.

I went to Disney World once for a band trip and i was with friends the whole time..no chaperones. :]
it was alot of fun.
and we didn't get into any fights.
just do whatever you want...that's what we did. :]

me and my friends went to Disney by ourselves, on a summer road trip. I was the only one that had been there before. Just try to keep things interesting for everyone.

I've been to Disney with friends 3 times. It depends on the friend really. If the friend is picky about rides and food it might be a tough time. But overall I can't recommend it enough it's great.

and I went twice with parents and once without. Splitting off from them is much easier and more fun for both parties. Parents get to do the boring stuff they like and kids get to do the fun stuff. :)

Also you got a wingman/girl if you're lookin to pick up somebody at the hot tubs at the hotel. haha.

i went with a girl i used to be very close with, but during hte trip planning (once we passed the point of no return) she and i started not getting along anymore. by the time the trip rolled around, we were both miserable with each other. that trip wasn't any fun.

but, about a year later, i went with my boyfriend, and it was the best trip ever. we had so much fun.

i guess it just depends on who you go with and how your relationship with that person is.

I went with one of my best friends last summer, and we had a blast :)

As Shelby said, it really depends on your relationship with the person.

I went with my best friend two summers ago.
We had a lot of good times, but by the time it was over, I thought I would've had more fun with just my family.

It's so much easier if you're very close with that friend- and it's one who either you don't get into a lot of fights with or can work them out easily. Make sure you're 100% sure that you want to go with her/him

i went with my cousin and she was a wimp so i had to either skip a ride or ride alone  never again!

I'd make sure that you pick a friend that you know very well and are certain to have minimal conflicts with. Because, you know, spending a few hours a day with a person is COMPLETELY different then living with them. And that's basically what your doing on vacation. O___O

no idea, but i'm giong with my cousin in a few weeks. i haven't really, seriously talked to her in about 3 years. and she's really quiet, so i'm edgy.

HAHA. That made me giggle. =)

Anyway, going to Disney with friends is the BEST. I went on a school trip and my three roomies and I got along so well. We also hung out with another room of boys and it was pretty much the best thing ever. We're going back again for senior week...just the four of us. No parents. =)
It's going to be awesome.

I wouldn`t go with a friend who you`re off and on with. I mean I wouldn`t go with a friend who I argue with a lot, or I`m thinking nasty things but not saying them to avoid a fight.
In other words, I only have one friend who I`d ever consider taking, just because we usually get along, and she`s happy go lucky like 99% of the time. Hard to piss off.

That's exactly how my friend is, who I'm taking to WDW in October. She's never been before, and she's totally out of this world excited. I wanted her to come, hands down, because no matter how long we spend together, we would never get sick of each other and always have something to talk about. She also loves thrill rides, so that's definitely a plus because I'm crazy about them. I think the only kind of tricky thing will be getting her into Disney "mode" once we're there, like, getting used to that fact that we go to two parks in one day, or repeating rides and parks and stuff. Disney's much different than any theme park she's ever been to before, but I know she'll love it.
