Going to WDW in June - Would like a pal for my son for a day....

Hi all.
I am heading to Disney on June 20th with my Mum and my son (Age 11)/
We will be at POFQ from June 20 to 25th and Animal Kingdom Lodge 25th and 26th. Homewood Suites International Drive from June 27th to July 6th. I was hoping someone on this board with a child my son's age might be traveling at the same time and perhaps they could spend a day together (at my expense). I know he will have fun with Mum and Nana, but I also think it would be neat if he could spend a day at a park with someone his own age. I know this is risky, but I thought I would give it a try. Of course, I would want to communicate before our trip. I am hoping someone can be of help. This isn't a necessity, but would be a nice addition to our vacation. I am already counting the days and the days are very long

or on the Theme Parks "who's going when" thread? (start 1 over there if there isnt 1 going for June)

Good morning. When we went to Disney last year my 6yr old ds found a playmate at our resort while we were swimming in the pool the 1st day there. They were almost inseparable the whole time we were there. Plus we really got along great with his parents and we ended up doing alot of things together with the boys. And we are now email pals everyday and our sons call each other once a week. Thier in NY and were illinois. Were all going back this may again and were all excited about seeing each other again. So take him to the pool and chances are he will make friends and so will you. Good luck.
