Well my gown came in June 14 and of vourse no one bothered to call me - I called after worrying for several weeks, but luckily it was in and not lost in China - I am so afraid. I have gained about 10 pounds over the summer as my schedule has been insane and know my dress will be too tight. I have 6 weeks before my fitting. I will not be eating between now and then. I hate this..........

good luck! 10lbs isn't such a biggie just be a bit careful what you eat and maybe step up the excercise slightly for a while - YOU CAN DO IT!

You can definitely do it! 6 weeks is no problem - I bet you could lose 15 if you wanted! Good luck!!

When I tried on my dress before the final fitting...I hated it! It was too tight and it just looked awful...this was 4 weeks before the wedding!! It didn't even look the same! They had sent me the wrong size and I had never bothered to try it on again. A dumb mistake by me, so we ran to the bridal store that weekend and we had to find a new dress that day, so it could be altered and be ready in time to take to Florida in less than 4 weeks! I walked in...said I have to exchange this dress!! They said...that's fine...find one of the same or more value. I had 3 hours to find a dress before my fitting appointment. I found one I liked and tried it on...PERFECT! The first one too and it was so much more fabulous than the other one! It was "Cinderella" looking and my parents and I fell in love with it! That's my stressful story and things could have ended badly...but things happen for a reason!! It was fate and all worked out in my favor! :goodvibes So...I had the worst situation possible...turn into the best situation!!! :teeth:

Alison, im sure all will be fine! Just watch what you eat for a few days and try and do a little bit extra excercise! Just because you have gained 10lbs doesnt mean the dress wont fit! You may have gained a few lbs in places that wont affect the dress.
