Ok, we are going to the dark side. Four days, three nights over labor day weekend at the Lowe's Royal whatever. What should a first timer do?

Read the FAQ:thumbsup2
You're going over the busiest weekend ever, and Potter should be open. You've already done right by staying onsite, you will use those roomkeys like crazy.

Have a great time. They say Harry Potter will make the parks busier but as a hotel guest that won't really have much of an impact on you. If you are an HP fanatic you can get up early and get into the area before they open the gate for regular guests. You will also have your room key, which is like a permanent unlimited Fastpass. Perks like that make crowds less of an issue and enjoying yourselves the main theme for your visit.

Wait! I've heard that Labor Day is a great time to go to Disney!? Will it be that much different at US? I really want to try it that weekend, but I'm a first timer too.

Normally Labor Day isn't that bad, in fact express pass is at it's cheapest then (judge of crowds).. but, who knows how HP will affect it, being that will be around the 3rd/4th month it has been open.

With your room key you will have a great time, with much shorter wait.. not to mention Royal Pacific is a very nice hotel :thumbsup2

Give yourself to the Dark Side.

It is the only way you can save your friends.

Yes, your thoughts betray you.

Your feelings for them are strong.

Especially for... Disney.

So, you visit Disney.

Your feelings have now betrayed that, too...

:lmao:

That week is generally not that bad...perhaps the poster thought you meant Memorial day. Who knows with HP though....just be glad you are staying onsite!

We go down Christmas week (which is traditionally crowded) but staying onsite with FOTL it's not that bad.:thumbsup2 Have a wonderful trip. :)
