We haven't been in forever. I've only been once, when I was 5. I'm 22 not. So it's been a while. There are going to be 10 of us going. Just looking for tips from people who have been recently.

We will be there two days

The best hotel for under 60 bucks that is close to SW
Best places to eat for a big family as mine.
What are the waits for the rides? Mainly Manta, and Kraken.
What are the best shows to catch?
Has anybody done the Dolphin Experience? I'm thinking of doing it for my Mom.
And anything else you can think of.

Thanks guys!!

we will also be there in 2 weeks, best hotels are on i drive there are lots to choose from and are cheap and only mins from seaworld, also you will find all the cheap places to eat close to hotels like sizzler, ponderosa, dennys etc.
i hope the lines are not to busy for you as i will be in them myself

The best hotel for under 60 bucks that is close to SW: I suggest the Quality Inn oat 7600 I drive. Or Residence Inn close to convention center. Cheap.

Best places to eat for a big family as mine. There are sooo many places to eat. Bahama Breeze rocks.

What are the waits for the rides? Mainly Manta, and Kraken. Kraken has short lines, Manta is gonna be a little longer...

What are the best shows to catch? Don't miss Shamu, either Believe or Rocks. Blue Horizons is awesome...Clyde and Symore...Pets Ahoy. My top four...

Has anybody done the Dolphin Experience? I'm thinking of doing it for my Mom. Nope, haven't done it.

And anything else you can think of. Take waters, snacks, etc...esp. if you have little ones. They will let ya take pretty much anything in...we usually take a backpack filled with frozen waters...snacks or juice boxes. They are pretty flexible, not too strict.

NEED: sunscreen....sunglasses....hats...you can buy the refillable cup if you plan to revisit.

Also, if you do have children the rides will allow you to go on and then your partner can go up the exit if you ask for a pass when you get off of the ride. Esp. good for Kraken and Manta.

Have fun!!!!

What a great thread! I am also heading down there in 2 weeks and registered to do the dolphin swim, so I'll keep you posted on that one. I appreciate any more advice you guys have to post :rotfl:

We just went in April for the first time and are going back in July. Definitely plan to feed the dolphins. That was one of the coolest things I have ever done. A tip, if you are planning on taking pictures of the person in your party feeding you will have to pay to get in there with them. I think it is $7 per person. My husband was just going to take pictures but since we had to pay for him to get in there with us he fed the dolphins as well and loved it.

The Believe show is fantastic. I am excited about taking my teenagers back with me to see it.
