I am going to Disneyland tomorrow. We will be there for 5 days, including a nice DIS meet this weekend. I will be trying to post pictures daily (probably on the Disneyland Board), and I plan to check the boards from time to time. :) If you have any questions about Disneyland or Disney's California Adventure, feel free to ask and I will be happy to research for you. :D We will be focussing on some new restaurants, shows and attractions, plus I hope to check out a few offsite hotels in the area for future reference. :)

Well, you certainly sound happy.:) :) :)
Hope you have a great trip. Have fun (and I wish I was going too).;)

Teri, I hope you all have a great time down at DL and DCA! Wish I could come along for the ride.. Heres a wish for dry weather ! Have fun...

OK, I am back - and I must say, I enjoyed Disneyland even more than Disney World. It is a great park. There is at least one new companion restroom (in the back of Carnation Plaza Gardens, tucked in the corner) in addition to the First Aid Station. They allow guests with the Special Assistance Pass to use the alternate entrances or Fastpass Line without any fuss whatsoever -- the only limit is the safety factor, only one guest per ride who would no be able to evacuate on their own in the event of an emergency. It is not the most accessible park, and nearly all rides require transfer. But the atmosphere there is wonderful!

The big drawback there is the amount of walking you have to do to get from point A to point B, but that is the same at WDW. Disneyland Park itself is smaller but has more attractions in a smaller space - and lots of beautiful places to sit and rest.

And Sue - the Space Mountain there has high-back seats, side-by-side, with wrap-around head rests for some lateral support, but it is very fast on the tight turns - much faster than the one at WDW - so I am not sure how it would be for your daughter.

Glad you had a great trip!! Welcome back!!! :D

Thanks, teri. I could make my DH ride with her (although I really wouldn't want to lose her on those tight turns).

Glad to hear you had a good time.
