I love looking at everyones lists! I get some great ideas
Here is mine:

1) Order Disney Crocs for dd
2) Make hair and nail appt for day before we leave (me)
3) make a Target run and pick up swim diapers, sunscreen and toiletries also gallon ziplocks to hold changes of clothes for the parks
4) put together a backack for dd for the plane with crayons, coloring books, snackies and ???
5) buy dh some new shorts
6) keep trying for CRT breakfast :headache:
7) find all my unopened ponchos from last year - or buy new ones
8) cash in all change (we call this ice cream $, but we usually have a few hundred)
9) call JetBlue (today!!) the price of our flights went down  so we will get a credit
10) organize ride to the airport

Anyone else care to share?

I'll share! MOST of mine are similar!

We leave the 10th of May!

**I have to call dinning and let them know about my daughter allergies (food).
***while on the phone see if I can get a later or earlier dinner for 2 nights! We have a 4:00 and a 5:50, so I want to see if we can get another closer to 4:00 OR another closer to 6, so we can be on a similar schedule!
***DO a "store run" and get swim diapers, sunscreen, more sippy cups, and snacks for the plane..as well as a few new toys for the plane (books, doodle pad, a DVD, etc..)
***Charge ALL cameras and potable DVD player (for the plane)!
***Buy a few more discs or memory cards for cameras!
*** mani, pedi and haircut and color (Which I am doing Hair NEXT week) and mani and pedi day before we leave!
***Pack carry-ons!
*** KEEP CHECKING WEATHER!!! And get together appropriate clothes for all!
***Wash and Pack all of our clothes!
***Get myself a new pair of comfy shoes, which will probably be flip flops, b/c I can't wear sneakers! AND work them in, so I don't have soar tootsies!
***Get a cup holder for stroller!
***I also have A TON of stuff to do NON-DISNEY related, since my daughter's birthday is the weekend after we get back! UGGGGHHHHH! I have to send out invites, plan on a menu and figure out favors and cake..so I am not completley overwhelmed when we get home!

I think that's it!!!
HAVE FUN!!!

OH I forgot something kinda important!!! After re-reading yours....GET MY DAUGHTER A RAINCOAT or PONCHO!!!! We have them, but she doesn't! ;0)

Ditto on all of the above, PLUS

* Pull out my son's summer clothes from last year to see what we can get away with, or do some serious shopping if he's really grown the amount I think he has
* Decide if I'm getting hoppers or not and order park tix from Undercover Tourist
* Figure out who is driving us to the airport at 5:30 am on Mother's Day
* PACK EVERYTHING
Plus, non-trip related
* Put my house back together - we recently did some painting and moved my son into his "big boy" room and bed, so everything that was stored in what became his new room is EVERYWHERE
* Start classes for my teacher certification and HOPE that I can schedule my observation time around our trip :sad2:

1. Lose weight

2. New Clothes for summer (for me, dh & kids)

3. Hair appts.

4. Buy a new Digital SLR!!

Pack, and thats it! We keep it pretty simple, but oh so expensive.

You are all closer to D-Day than I am, but the compulsive (anal) planner in me of course has a list going!

:yay: Order glow sticks on EBay

:) Cash in change & buy GCs at the Disney Store

;) New sunscreen

 Case of bottled water for the road

 Dramamine, Imodium, Children's Tylenol (essentially a Target run)

 Fine a couple new DVDs for the trip down

:upsidedow New crocs for the kids

:groom: Order Disney nametags for kids

There's plenty more, I'm sure, but those are on the list now.....

Please tell me about these!!!

I ordered mine online - EBay - from this seller of disney items:

http://stores.ebay.com/Your-WDW-Store

If you go to their site type in "name tag" in the search line and you should see a selection. They look similar to CM's tags but are character specific. I have my kids' first name put on, on the back I'll use a Sharpie to write our cell phone number as a "just in case" we get separated sort of thing.:thumbsup2

we are doing the same.. we leave the first week of May.. my little girl is looking for her little character gifts.. this makes it so much fun!

This scares me so much! We had a cute birthday outfit on our DD last time we were at Disney that had her name on it. Stranger after stranger said happy birthday and called her name. She automatically felt comfy with them since she didn't understand "how" they knew her name. That's when I began to reconsider what I'd done. :guilty: I guess I just worry about pervs and wierdos luring her off by knowing to call her by name. Now, the shoe tag thingy...that's a different story because the name wouldn't be clearly seen unless she were lost and showed it to a CM :thumbsup2 .

Just my 2 cents ;)

Just got back and had a blast:woohoo: :thumbsup2 . Here's my list.

Make 2 packing check lists for each person-one for when you leave one for when you come back (it helps make sure you have everything you came with)

Send a box with snacks/film/suncsreen/batteries and all those things that are a pain to pack and take up room. (It's great for film so it goes through the x-ray machines at little as possible)

Buy things that light up for the kids at night parade (just don't forget to take them with you to the park! OOPS:rolleyes: )

Make sure you have plenty of time to get your prescription drugs filled to take with you. Sometimes the pharmacy is out and has to order it. If you wait til the last minute you could be screwed.

Bring over the counter meds, but make sure to pack any liquid ones in your suitcase not the carry-on or they'll throw it away on you.

Get your kids to pack their own carry-on and decide what they want to take to keep them entertained. It gets them involved and helps us moms with the what should I take to keep them busy question.

Charge everything. Don't forget headphones.

Make a countdown to Disney chart to get the excitement levels high. We started at 50 days out and it was a lot of fun.

If you want them to earn their spending money give them a chore chart to earn it. We did this and for everything they did they got a star worth 25 cents and if they made it through the day without a fight they got one for 50.
We started a month out and I got a lot more help then I usually get and they earned about $35 dollars each to spend on what they wanted so it didn't break the bank. My husband went on the computer and made a calendar for the month and put a Disney picture on each one. They were so cute and the kids had a lot of fun with it.

Bring plenty of extra underwear and socks. Not something you want to run out of!

Pack your sense of humor:rotfl2:

I agree with the name thing. I made Disney shirts for my kids for our trip and my DH wouldn't let me put their names on them for the same reason. He was concerned they would think this person was Ok and not be cautious around them anymore. I understand why you want to do that but it might be better if it's not in such an obvious way. We solve this problem by writing down our cell phone numbers and stuff on a piece of paper and put it inside our kids shoes or in a zippered/buttoned pocket. This way if something happens they have our phone numbers but no one can see them. It is probably being ultra cautious, but I'd rather be overly cautious then not.

Have a great trip everyone.

Have a GREAT TRIP!

Yup, BRU. They are great not so much for keeping your bebe dry, but rather the stroller, since you are leaving it uncovered everytime you ride a ride.
:goodvibes

I have a little more than 7 months till our trip, but I already have a list to *work* on...
buy glowsticks
raincoats
decide on park hopper
start buying some cheap pins for trading (we are newbies to this one!)
buy lanyards
start working on autograph books
Start collecting decorations for hotel window and maybe door.
pick up small trinket gifts to be left in the room each day as a suprise
stock up on activities for the plane ride, including possibly buying earphones for the laptop - if she is going to watch movies.
find a small portable air purifier or sound machine. I can't sleep without the sound of my air purifier so I KNOW i need to take something with me for a hotel.
Work on her custom outfits I am making
oh and make all our adrs as soon as I can!

where does one buy glowsticks?

We get ours from the dollar store. We've purchased glow necklaces, bracelets and just the plain sticks there and they had them in about 6 different colors to choose from. My kids love them when we are in the parks at night.:cool1:

where does one buy glowsticks?

Oriental Trading company is a good resourse for all kids of different glow in the dark things. When it gets closer to 4th of July, if you don't have to leave til near that time, Target usually has them in their dollar bins.

I ordered mine at Ebay (again) but I did just find some at the dollar store too. Our dollar store had the "shake" kind & I pictured them being 'glowed out' before we used them. I ended up find the ones you kind of break internally. Oriental trading was a good place too & if you order through EBates you get a % back.....
