This week is our 7 month window to book june 18-25, 7 nights. we have never been to Hawaii before. we are looking into a studio for just the 2 of us for my birthday. which view should we get? obviously an ocean view would be great, but is it really needed to spend the extra points for it? if we dont spend that much on that, what view is good?

what is difference between booking studio or hotel room?

Can anyone see if rooms are available now for that time, we dont own there so cant see until end of the week to try and decide.

thank you

Currently the only view with full availability is Ocean View so you might not have a choice...

Take heart..... whe I booked there two years ago, I had to piece it together 1 night at a time as rooms became available. People do cancel and things pop up!

When we booked, our first week of choice was not available. Our second week of choice had only ocean view available, so we snagged it!

I can't speak to which view is needed but has others have mentioned you may need some flexibility since cheaper views go first. We were just looking for a standard view but ended up with a pool view, just based on availability.

Studio had a bed and a pull-out couch. Hotel room has either a king or 2 queens and the room is also slightly larger. Again, consider availability. We were originally looking for a hotel room (4 of us - would have preferred 2 queen beds) but only studios were available for our dates.
