Is it true that you can go to Biergarten and pay $5 for the show and not have to buy dinner? Do you need to at least order a soda?

To be honest I dont know that I would pay $5 to see this show..If it were true..I mean its very short and just includes two or three men in lederhousen(sp?) singing maybe three songs..Its not bad but I wouldnt pay for it or make a special trip for it either..

No you cannot. Basically Biergarten is like any of the character buffets. Normally the only exceptions to full price are if the person is on a feeding tube or ill and one person in the group does not eat, or a child that does not eat at all, it is generally up to the server and/or manager to either charge nothing at all or a $5.00 entertainement fee.

Also you could not order a soda only as only alcoholic beverages are specially priced, everything else is included in the price of the buffet.

If you went in as a single you might get away with it. However, you must also realize that all tables are designed for eight people and you would be seated with one or two families.

I tend to agree that I wouldn't waste my time or money just to see the show. It's a nice bonus if your eating there, but it really isn't that long of a show. The food is great here though we always go here and on an occasion or two have even gone twice in one stay.

I have never heard of that. And it's a buffet style restuarnt so you can't just go in and order a drink. It would be like going to a character meal just to see the characters and not pay for the food.

I don't know how they did it but an entire family (around 6-8 ppl) was there sitting eating/watching with their own food (can't remember if it was cs or brown bagged). They sat on one of the upper levels. I thought that it was odd as it is a buffet and no outside food should be allowed.

It's really not much of a show. It's fine and cute for the kids while you're there eating, but nothing I would make a special trip for.

we went last Oct. there were 4 of us,we just went in for beer and the show. We had no interest in going to the buffet. We stayed for about 1 hour,They sat us the top/back section.. :smokin:
