I watched your ship sail out of port a little while ago. It was the first time I've been able to time it correctly to see a Disney ship leave on the live webcams. I wasn't able to pick you guys out of the crowd, but I was waving through my computer nonetheless.

I have watched it since I have gotten home and I saw us, but I knew where we were too. LOL. It was hard to pick out individual people on that.

I am home and slowly making it back into everyday real life. Boy that sucks!

This trip was much different. First off we had extreme crowds...so crowded that Mk closed for capacity at least one day that I know of during our trip. I knew it would be busy, but I didn't expect it that busy. I did not let that ruin our trip though and we kind of went with the flow as much as we could. Shuffling along, as people do not know how to walk evidently, because no one takes a full strided walk when it is crowded.
We had some ups and downs, but we continued on.
Skip made it in and I am reminded how much work he is on vacation. LOL.
He likes to change up plans, and he would wander off on his own and then we had to find him...more than once. Claire would worry about him and i would tell her he is a big boy and can take care of himself.
He did enjoy the cruise. He did however say he would not go back every year on one and next year he would like to go to CA. Which is fine by me.
Our last day was just to be a lazy day till our flight, but Skip was antsy and before I knew it, we headed off to Universal Studios for a few hours. Totally a spur of the moment thing. We had fun, but it sucked we couldn't stay longer, especially when we found out our flight was delayed 2 hours about 10 minutes before we were due to take off.
I am not a fan of the my Disney Experience app nor the FP+. I will compalin about that more when I write my TR, but it's a pain in the rear. My times changed on their own, things didn't copy correctly and the app only worked about 1/4 of the time.
I heard lots of complaints about the whole thing too, so I know it just wasn't me.
I plan to start my Disneyland report soon and I will post the link here once I do....then the WDW/DCL one will come later.

Cant wait to hear the review, especially about FP+. I don't want to be all negative before I even try it, but it just does not sound like something that is going to work for our family. I guess I'll find out for myself in August.

I usually complain about how my family leaves all decisions up to me, but on vacation, I like it when they follow along with everything I say. It would make me bonkers if Mike changed up my plans or wandered off, especially since he never wants anything to do with making the plans in the first place.

I was pretty negative before I tried it and I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised, but I had a lot of issues...one being the crap app.
And we had the same issue. Skip does not want to plan at all...I love to plan. Of course I don't mind changing things as I go, if it is my decision, but then Skip came in and he was really fussing with my plans. He would make comments like "Why would anyone want to do that?" or "Why aren't we doing this?" ..."Why do we have a rest day?" LOL

It was soooo crowded, but we made the best of it we could. I hated the crowds, but there is nothing you can do but just keep swimming or smile and wve!

He did seem to have a good time and I only had to threaten to throw him overboard a few times....mainly when he was commenting on my driving as we drove to the port.

Finally trying to catch up with my subscriptions. Left for Florida the last week of February, came home April 2. I was enjoying the pictures on Facebook on my phone, looking forward to the TR. I'm already subscribed.

Your trip seemed to fly by as did ours. Glad to have missed all the cold weather, but I'm still in it here in crappy Ohio!
