Going on Dis 7 day cruise with points...Eastern or Western?

We are going on cruise next fall 1st time. We have NEVER been on any cruises so we want to make sure we do it right the 1st time out.
If any of you have ever gone on either 7 day or both give us your opinions on both. Which would you go on again, western or eastern. Thanks!

We were on the 7/6 Western. It was incredible!!!!!! We would gladly do it again, but I would like to try the Eastern first. The general concensus is that both are great. You'll love it!

The Eastern is less points.

We have chosen the Western because we liked the ports better, especially beign able to see the Mayan ruins and Key West.

The Eastern is quite a bit fewer points, it seems, but if I would choose one I would do the Western--we did St. Maarten in the late 1980's, and I have always wanted to see Cayman and Cozumel.
