We are headed for Old Key West for 2 weeks the 21st of this month. Anyone tell me about the crowds in the last couple of weeks. Thanks:earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl::earsgirl:

Can't tell you about the crowds but we'll be at OKW in two weeks ourselves. We have never been to WDW this time of the year and are expecting the worse (for crowds). But we really don't care too much as I'm sure we'll have fun doing whatever we decide to do. I'm sure we'll try and take advantage of early entry mornings (or whatever they are called these days). We'll just do our best to avoid the crowds and have fun!

We are headed down from 6/22-6/26 at BCV. We have been in June at this time twice before. Weather can be very hot and humid, but I did not find the crowds too bad(Easter and Chrsitmas much worse). We toured a park in the morning then headed to the pool or room in pm and then back to another park later. Take advantage of e-night if there is one during your stay. Do not assume you can tour a whole day! You will have a meltdown! We are ready to go..leaving Friday and arriving early afternoon on sun 6/22.

Jaybrad,

Just back today from Dolphin & WDW. I am sad to say the crowds are BAD!! Park attendance is not down, every park was packed! In the late afternoon & evening there were 2 hour waits & not FP's left at many of the rides.

This schedule worked best for us. EE was terrible, it did not work for us, there were still 30-40 minute waits. Get to the park at opening or 15 minutes after opening. DH would wait in a line & I would get a Fast Pass for another ride, we would ride 2 rides, get another FP for another ride, take a snack break or find a ride with a wait of less then 35 minutes. We would leave the park around 12-1 pm & take a pool/hotel break. There were many times where we would just stand around with nothing to do because everything was so busy, it was amazing. We did do E ride night one night. For the 1st hour the waits were still 45 minutes & then the 2nd hour lines were better, we rode Splsh Mt. 2 times in a row. We will never go back in June. The heat was terrible as well, buy a Mister Fan, that helped cool the kids down a lot, we would also take water bottles & pour on the kids heads while standing in line. Also bring your rain ponchos, it rained hard 2-3 hours everday this week. Hope you have a safe trip!

I was there June 1-5. June 1 at MGM was fine, but after that the crowds were worse then the 4th of July the last 2 years! We went to EE at EPCOT and by an hour after opening, Test Track had 2 hour stand-by and 1 hour singular riders. Thank goodenss for Fast Pass.

Our family goes this time of of year almost every year. It is hot and humid but we leave the parks by lunchtime and sit at the pool. You miss the hottest part of the day and feel refreshed when you return at night. Crowds can be bad but not unbearable. Morning and evening crowds are lighter than mid day.
